CBRE Marina Bay
Adaptive soundscaping for a premium workplace environment in Singapore.
CBRE’s Marina Bay workplace uses adaptive soundscaping to support focus, comfort and acoustic consistency across a multi-zone office environment.
Valeo Technology delivered a 14-zone soundscaping strategy using Moodsonic, with each area tuned to suit the way the space is used. The system creates a subtle sound layer that helps reduce distraction, support speech privacy and make the workplace feel calmer without adding visual clutter or complexity.
Challenge - Modern workplaces need to support focus, collaboration and client-facing experience in the same floorplate. Traditional acoustic treatments help control the physical environment, but they do not always address how the workplace feels in use throughout the day.CBRE needed a sound strategy that could work quietly in the background, support different zones and be adjusted over time.
Solution - Valeo Technology designed and commissioned a 14-zone adaptive soundscaping system using Moodsonic. Each zone was tuned to suit its use, from focused work areas to shared and client-facing spaces. The system delivers natural, generative soundscapes through the workplace audio layer, with the ability to monitor and adjust performance over time.
Outcome - The result is a calmer, more consistent workplace sound environment across multiple zones. The system supports focus, comfort and speech privacy while remaining discreet and easy to manage. For the project team, the sound layer becomes part of the workplace experience without creating unnecessary operational complexity.
